What type of material does Polyurea adhere to?


Polyurea bonds to most surfaces - steel, aluminium, concrete, fibreglass, rubber, polystyrene & other plastics




What chemicals is Polyurea resistant to?


Polyurea is resistant to most acids & alkalais, solvents, fuels, paints, bleaches, organic solvents, fertilizers & so much more




What type of surface preparation is requried?


Polyurea requires a clean surface to bond to. Depending on the substrate it will either require abrasive blasting, mechanical cleaning or high pressure water blasting. A primer in most cases is essental for a great chemical bond of the Polyurea




What is the drying time after the application of Polyurea?


As seen in the photo it can take as little as 5-7 seconds for this particular Polyurea to be trafficable. Other Polyureas depending on their intended nature can take up to a minute to be able to walked on. Like most coatings it will achieve it will become more resliant after 24 hours




What thickness can polyurea be applied?


Polyurea can range in thickness from normally 1.5mm (waterproofing) to 3mm (abrasion resistance) or where needed. Depending on the application it can range up to 10mm & above when it comes to structural strengthening of buildings In the picture the Test Dolly was not even able to break the bond of the Polyurea on the side of Tank




Does Polyurea dampen vibrations?


Polyurethane Thermal Plastic helps dampen vibrations. The product is flexible to absorb a degree of movement between components. You can see this in our photo of a Jet Ski




Why is Polyurea application cost effective?


No undercoats or waiting additional coats to dry before application or repairs. To rebuild on wear areas it is simple as respraying on existing material, saving on plant down time & application costs. In the photo is spraying for Floc Tanks in the Mines

Does Polyurea provide a watertight seal?


Polyurea products are water resistant & 100% solid material, not allowing any water impregnations to the under side surfaces as you see in the photo
